The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners will host three community meetings to discuss several topics including the 2013-2017 Strategic Plan, FY 2013-14 Budget, Penny for Pasco, road maintenance needs, and the upcoming National Citizen Survey (NCS) to be conducted May 3 - June 14. The Board of County Commissioners will use the opinions and ideas shared during these meetings and from surveys to assist with upcoming budget decisions.
The NCS, along with an online survey that will be launched later, includes a series of questions on service areas and quality of service delivered. They also provide the opportunity for residents to provide their opinion of the biggest issues facing Pasco County over the next few years.
The community meetings currently scheduled are:
• Tuesday, May 7, 6:30 p.m. at the Historic Court House, Board Room, Dade City
o This session will be televised on Government TV Channel 622 on Bright House and Channel 42 on Verizon.
• Monday, May 13, 5:30 p.m. at West Pasco Government Center, Board Room, New Port Richey
o This session will be televised on Government TV Channel 622 on Bright House and Channel 42 on Verizon.
• Wednesday, May 15, 6:30 p.m. at the Land O’ Lakes Community Center, Land O’ Lakes
